Recruitment schedule for international students

Registration of candidates in the IRK system begins on 20 April 2026.

ATTENTION! Candidates applying for studies at the Faculty of Health Sciences must follow a different schedule seen below.

International candidates can submit their recruitment documents earlier, up to the deadlines indicated in the schedule. The documents should be delivered to the International Candidates Recruitment Area at Oleska 48. 310. When submitting documents at the office, candidates are required to provide copies of all required documents (there is no possibility to make photocopies on-site) and show the originals for inspection. Those sending documents by mail should not send originals, but only notarized copies, which will not be returned.

General admissions timetable for the 2026/2027 academic year

FIRST RECRUITMENT ROUND

20.04.2026 – Registration of candidates in the IRK has begun

10.07.2026 – Deadline for candidate registration

13.07.2026 – Downloading of A-level results from KREM and recording in the IRK of any final payments received in the candidate’s individual account by that date

14.07.2026 – Assessment of the electronic documentation for the Art Education course in the visual arts.

16.07.2026 – Announcement of the lists of candidates who have been admitted to the course, those on the reserve list, and those who have not been admitted due to their A-level results falling below the threshold specified in the Admissions Resolution

17.07.2025 do 24.07.2025 until 15:00 15.00 Deadline for the delivery of all required documents (including those sent via post!) for the qualified candidates as well as those on the reserve list who would like to fill the spots left by those candidates who have decided not to enroll. Failure to deliver your documents before this deadline will be treated as a resignation from studies at the University of Opole.

27.07.2026 – Announcement of the list of successful candidates.


SECOND RECRUITMENT ROUND

17.07.2026 – Launch of the second round of rolling admissions (with the exception of Art Education in the visual arts) for courses where the number of candidates eligible for admission is significantly lower than the course’s admission quota.

28.07.2026 – The start of the second round of rolling admissions for courses on which places remain available following the conclusion of the first round of admissions.

10.09.2026 until 15:00 12.00 – Final day to apply to the Art Education in the Filed of Visual Arts programme.

11.09.2026 until 15:00 12.00 Downloading the results of the final exams taken during the resit period from KREM and recording in the IRK any final payments received in the candidate’s individual account by that date.

16.09.2026 – Assessment of the electronic portfolios of candidates for the Art Education (Visual Arts) programme.

17.09.2026 – The deadline for the Rector to decide whether to run courses that have not reached their intake quota.

17.09.2026 Announcement of the list of successful applicants for the Art Education (Visual Arts) programme

18.09-24.09.2026 until 15:00 12.00 Deadline for submitting documents (including those sent by mail!) by candidates qualified for admission to the Art Education in the Field of Visual Arts programme and announcement of the list of accepted candidates (by 15.00).

29.09.2026 The application period for first-cycle and integrated master’s degree programmes has closed.

30.09.2026 – The deadline for submitting a certificate from an occupational health doctor for courses where this is required.

18.09.2026 The deadline for candidates to register and for the application fee for the Visual Arts programme to be credited to the candidate’s account.

21.09.2026 Assessment of the electronic portfolios of candidates for the Art Education (Visual Arts) programme.

22.09.2026 Interview for applicants to the Master’s degree programme in Art Education (Visual Arts) who have completed degree programmes not listed in Annex 3 to Resolution No. 28/2024–2028 of the Senate of the University of Opole dated 26 June 2025 on: the rules for admission to degree programmes at the University of Opole in the 2026/27 academic year , or not assigned to the main discipline.

05.10.2026 The application period for Master’s degree programmes has closed.

06.10.2026 – The deadline for submitting a certificate from an occupational health doctor for courses where this is required.

31.07.2026 – Registration for courses where the number of applicants is below the quota is now open on a rolling basis.

16.07.2026 until 15:00 15:00 – Announcement of the lists of candidates who have been admitted to the course, those on the reserve list, and those who have not been admitted due to their A-level results
falling below the threshold specified in the Admissions Resolution.

23.07.2026 09:00-15:00, 24.07.2026 09:00-15:00, 25.07.2026 09:00-13:00 and 27.07.2026 09:00-15:00 – Deadline for the submission of documents (this also applies to documents sent by post!) by candidates who have been accepted onto the course and by reserve candidates applying for places vacated by accepted candidates who have decided not to enrol at the University of Opole. Failure to submit the documents by this deadline will be treated as a withdrawal from the course at the University of Opole.

29.07.2026 – Announcement of the list of successful candidates.

13.09.2026 – Deadline for applications for degree programmes

14.09.2026 – Downloading the results of the final exams taken during the resit period from KREM and recording in the IRK any final payments received in the candidate’s individual account by that date.*

14.09.2026 lub 15.09.2026 – An interview or entrance examination for applicants to second-cycle degree programmes who have completed courses not listed in Annex 3 to this resolution, or which are not assigned to a main discipline, provided that such a stage of the admissions process is included.

16.09.2026 15:00 – Announcement of the lists of candidates who have been admitted to the course, those on the reserve list, and those who have not been admitted due to their A-level results falling below the threshold specified in the Admissions Resolution

18 September 2026, 9.00 am–3.00 pm, 19 September 2026, 9.00 am–1.00 pm, and 21 September 2026, 09:00-15:00 – The deadline for submitting documents (this also applies to documents sent by post!) by candidates who have been accepted onto the course and by reserve candidates applying for places vacated by accepted candidates who have decided not to enrol at the University of Opole. Failure to submit the documents by this deadline will be treated as a withdrawal from the course at the University of Opole.

24.09.2026 – Announcement of the list of successful applicants and the final deadline for applications to the Faculty of Health Sciences.

30.09.2026 – The deadline for submitting a certificate from an occupational health doctor and any other certificates required for the relevant course

Please note!
1) * Candidates paying by standard bank transfer should bear in mind that such transfers (depending on the bank) may take 2–3 days to clear. Therefore, unlike the instant payment system (AutoPay), such transfers must be arranged well in advance.
2) 31 October 2026 – the deadline for candidates who are entitled to a refund of the application fee for formal reasons to submit their refund application;
3) Candidates applying on the basis of foreign documents must submit their documents at the International Student Admissions Office (48 Oleska Street, room 310).
