Language requirements

Candidates have 3 ways of verifying their level of mastery of a foreign language which is required during the recruitment process:

Certificate

Candidates can confirm their Polish or English language proficiency via appropriate certificates.

Polish language proficiency certificates.

English language proficiency certificates.

Certificates that are not included in the aforementioned lists are to be evaluated by the recruitment committee. The recruitment committee decides whether the certificates can be used for the purpose of admission.

Medium of instruction

A candidate can submit a document which confirms that Polish / English was the language of instruction during their previous education. Such a document ought to be issued on a headed paper, then sealed and stamped by the authorized person.

Information on the medium of instruction can be written in a separate document or included in, for instance, the diploma or the transcript of records.

Qualifying interview

If the candidate is unable to provide an acceptable document confirming language proficiency, it is required to attend an online qualifying interview.

To register for the qualifying interview, you must:

After registering for the chosen study program, go to the “Application Submissions” tab, and then find the section “Uploading Scanned Documents by Foreigners.” At the end of this section, there is a question: “Do you have a language certificate at the required level?” Select the answer “NO” to be scheduled for the next available qualifying interview.

You will receive information about the date and details of the qualifying interview in a message from the recruitment committee.

NOTE: THE CANDIDATE CAN PARTICIPATE IN THE QUALIFYING INTERVIEW ONLY ONCE DURING THE ACTIVE REGISTRATION PERIOD.

In case of an urgent, justified inability to attend the scheduled date, please contact the recruitment committee immediately via the address: study@uni.opole.pl, to verify the possibility of rescheduling.

Participation in the qualifying interview is only possible after prior registration for the chosen program and the registration fee being recorded. The fee must be credited to the candidate’s individual account no later than 2 business days before the scheduled interview date.
