Scope of the Teaching Statistics and Accounting Department

  1. Maintaining records relating to degree programmes, excluding postgraduate programmes.
  2. Collaboration in organising university admissions.
  3. Enrolment of students in the USOS system.
  4. Maintaining the student register.
  5. Maintaining the register of diplomas.
  6. Preparing and entering the tuition fee schedule into the USOS system.
  7. Preparing and entering codes for new degree programmes and specialisations into the USOS system.
  8. Managing matters relating to domestic student exchanges under the MOST Student Mobility Programme and cooperating in this regard with the University Education Committee.
  9. Checking and adjusting the allocation of teaching duties for academic staff to ensure compliance with teaching loads, the correct division of students into groups, and the allocation of staff to courses in accordance with current degree programmes.
  10. Preparing the calculation of overtime teaching hours for academic staff.
  11. Compiling information for the Bursar’s Office on the costs of education for individual degree programmes.
  12. Preparing a statistical report for the Ministry of Science and Higher Education and the Central Statistical Office
  13. Supplying the POL-on system with data on the range and amounts of fees charged by the university, and the total number of teaching hours specified in the degree programme. Entering the number of teaching hours specified in the degree programme delivered by academic staff employed by the university as their primary place of work.
