Training Course – 2nd Edition

About the training

The specialist training course on the organisation of social assistance is classified as a qualifying training course. In accordance with Article 122 of the Act of 12 March 2004, as amended – on social assistance – this type of training is required to obtain the qualifications to manage a social assistance administrative unit.

The training sessions will take the form of 13–14 two-day sessions (Saturday and Sunday).

The first meeting is scheduled for March 2026, with the final meeting taking place in November 2026.

Who is it for?

The training is aimed at:

  • staff of social welfare organisations,
  • people employed by local government bodies that are directly or indirectly involved in the organisation and delivery of social welfare services (e.g. staff in departments responsible for social policy, health, social affairs, etc.).

Requirements for obtaining a diploma

  • attendance at all classes included in the training programme and successful completion of individual modules, as confirmed in the attendance register (the form of assessment is determined by the lecturer), and in accordance with the Regulation of the Minister of Labour and Social Policy of 26 September 2012 on specialisation in the field of social assistance organisation (Journal of Laws of 2012, item 1081);
  • writing a dissertation;
  • receiving a positive assessment of the dissertation from the lecturer supervising the dissertation;
  • pass the final examination before a panel appointed by the organiser
